Paris has been "done" so many times and yet every time I'm there, I feel like anything is possible. A city bursting with inspiration, beauty, and humor of all kinds, and therefore a city to which I will always return.

Which region of the world has an enviable Socialist structure? Awesome new music? Ironic facial hair? Tap water you could bottle? Bike traffic signals? Gorgeous blonds? Soul-crushing exchange rates? SCANDINAVIA + FINLAND. I went in search of topknots and superior coffee, and I returned with a seething case of envy and a will to return.

Europe

I love a lot of things: my dog, ruffles, Modernist literature, corduroy, the city of Venice, asparagus, bread,... but I appreciate little more than a fine sweet treat. Here are some favorites.

Wherever someone is marbling paper, sculpting clay, or lost in a frenzy of fabric cutting, I will be. Ateliers, Boutiques, Exceptional Art Stores. An ongoing collection.
