Recommendations for Craters of the Moon National Monument
Talk about a different and extreme landscape to visit! Lots of fun. My wife even got into crawling down into the lava tubes. Out of the way but worth it!!

Ok. I'm a city girl but I could totally see planning a vacation around this destination. It would be worth renting a car to experience this. It goes at the top of my wish list.
