Unlike Moscow or St Petersburg, Omsk has little formal infrastructure to support non-Russian speaking tourism. Find yourself a willing guide (it isn't difficult anyway, and certainly not with couchsurfers!) and reap the benefits of siberian pride and hospitality. Affordable, accessible (with help) and plenty of variety in the capital of a large, sparse region.
