Detroit has had and continues to have some of the best music in the west. Although living in an industrial, perhaps gritty city, Detroiters have learned to escape through art and music, all of which I hoped to showcase in this guide. There are plenty of other places in Detroit as well, many of them known simply by word of mouth. Come on up and visit, don't believe all that gossip that you hear.
