I live in Clinton-Hills, Brooklyn. I love my neighborhood, my borough, my city. Check out the places I know about with the best food and fashions. And of course a few of the coolest places to hang out... all on a budget of course! This IS a recession! assataSAYS.com

I've been going to Shelly's for about 6yrs & I LOVE the atmosphere. The hair dressers are experienced in hair care and Dominican hairstyling.
Pathmark @Atlantic Center is near me &they have special sales every week. You can view the circular online @pathmark.com and plan your spending &meals easily.
It doesn't matter if you're in NY or not. You can shop designer labels at reduced prices. But it's by invite only. http://tinyurl.com/assataSAYSGiltInvite
The pieces here aren't as carefully selected as Collecther, but you can buy, sell, &TRADE here. Whatever they dont take that u don't want gets donated @charity.
Aside from having round-the-year vintage pieces @reasonable prices, RECESSIONISTA SUNDAYS offers vintage dresses, all $25. &then there's DENIM DROP-OFF Sunday.
Overall, I thought the food was great. A little crammed since the restaurant is basically someone's living room. @$25 each, it makes for a great evening out.

Love the guide, but I think it would be even better with a title that described more what the guide was about -- like Brooklyn on a Budget or something?
