Draft House in Las Vegas

My neighborhood brewery. The place to go to get food, drink & Hank III on the juke. 5 minutes from my house. There was a time when I practically lived here. Don't drink to often anymore. But still the place

Las Vegas Gun Club in Las Vegas

This is where I grew up. It made me who I am today, atleast the good parts. I can see myself growing up from the ages of 7 to 19 all on photos on the walls from when I was sponsored and won passed state tourneys. Used to be called the Mint Gun Club and has a lot of history within Las Vegas. Hunter talks about it in Fear & Loathing even. It will be such a loss when they close the gun club's doors to make way for the new Las Vegas Gun Park, the largest shooting complex in the world. They should have made it a historic landmark as it will truly be a shame when this closes the end of 2009

Spring Mountain Ranch State in Las Vegas

Historic state park surrounded the valley. What the real history of Las Vegas is about before the railroad was even stedded in 1905. History goes back to the pioneers, indians, Vera Krupp who owned the 33+ carat diamond that got stolen from the ranch whom Richard Burton later bought and gave to his then wife Elizabeth Taylor

The real history of Las Vegas before the railroad was founded in 1905. In the mid-1830's, a campsite was established along the wash that runs through the ranch. The spring-fed creek and grassy meadows formed an oasis for travelers using the alternate route of the Spanish Trail through Cottonwood Valley. The use of the site by pack and wagon trains continued until their replacement by the railroad in 1905. later history includes former owners Howard Hughes and Vera Krupp, her 33+ carat diamond got stolen here and later bought by Richard Burton who gave then wife Elizabeth taylor the diamond
