Their salmon benedict is the best in the world, though you'll have to ask for it because it's not on the menu. The pudding-like french toast is also to die for!
I love taking strolls, people-watching, and taking street photos here. There's carnivals during Rose Festival and also beautiful cherry blossoms in the spring
A genuine Su-Chow-styled classical garden right next to Chinatown
A great place to visit on the weekends if you like arts and crafts. I always find something new and interesting every time I go
Always a long line (no reservations), but it's worth it to have a taste of the great sushi they have here!
IMHO the best Thai food in Portland, but tables are hard to get (no reservations) The restaurant is set in a historic house.
Great place for steak near the NW 23rd area. Don't be surprised when waiters ask "Do you want Rings with that?" Ringside is famous for their huge onion rings
Great place for dessert in Portland's NW 23rd area. Always noisy with lots of customers, so don't go expecting a quiet romantic after-dinner dessert place!
The food is pretty good, but the main reason to come is for the beautiful view of the Portland area and Mt Hood in the background
Virtually an institution in Lake Oswego. Love their burgers!
Absolutely loved this place when I was young, and I plan to take my kids here all the time once they're old enough! =)
I love spending entire afternoons in this humongous bookstore. It's one of my favorite places to go in Portland!
Oh, and what about that sushi place we ate at in Portland?
haha, yes, Saburo... I was waiting to find a good picture of the place before I added it to the list =)
That sushi looks mighty tasty.
Portland is a lovely city in a beautiful area. We arrived via Amtrak and rented a car for a week road trip down the coast so we weren't in the city nearly long enough. I do plan to return someday.

I wish I had this list a few months ago -- though I did make it to the Waterfront Park, I didn't make it to any of the other places.
