The food options are pretty good near our office!

Something for everyone, and not too expensive relative to most of the other nearby lunch options.
Pretty good Thai food that's just a block away. A little pricier, but the food makes up for it.
Very tasty Mediterranean food. The chicken kabob was excellent.
Great burgers -- I recently had the BBQ salmon burger which was excellent.
Good salads and sandwiches (the Monte Carlo salad is a favorite) in a nice informal setting.
Great spot for a lighter lunch and a heavier dessert. The paninis are quite tasty.
Great sandwich joint -- the BBQ beef is especially spicy and tasty! I'm also a fan of the BLT and grilled chicken.
Clean tasty non-sketchy Mexican food. Go when you're hungry -- the servings are generous. I especially like the fish tacos.
A great place to get a beer after work. The food is ok, but not great.
Excellent sandwiches and soups in a pleasant setting. Especially nice on a warm day -- grab a table on the patio.
Excellent tacos, burritos, and tortas. This is their main location, but they also have clean, non-scary, taco trucks along Harrison (one is by Best Buy).
My new favorite thai spot near the office -- good atmosphere, relatively cheap, and yummy. I think the green curry is probably my fav dish.
They serve breakfast until 2:30PM!! Service was a little slow, but the food was worth it. I had french toast, a side of italian sausage (very good), and a coke.
An excellent place to grab a turkey sandwich with a side of mixed greens. Get a coffee at Sightglass after your meal!
With a variety of sandwiches and a changing menu of meats, fish, and pasta dishes, this is a decent spot for a quick, filling lunch.
Hit and miss service (a lot of miss) but the food is pretty good, if not a little expensive for a lunch joint. They had a really good rabbit gnocchi special one time.
Stick with the pho (esp. beef) here. Kinda chic (chandeliers! lots of white furniture!). Good for lunch.
Dude, you should definitely add Costco to this list. I thought the pizza was great, and where else can you get a jumbo dog + soda for $1.50?!
Axis is my favorite
Add 101 and the cafeteria :)
Couldn't help checking this one out as my family name is Townsend! Yum is all I can say. Hope I can get to SF one day! ;)
Ha - thanks sallycat!
I hope you can get to SF sometime too, though there are some even better places to eat than on this guide (these are mainly some that are convenient -- though El Tonayense is definitely a SF classic).
I really need to try El Tonayense -- everyone just raves about it.
I have to admit that this a pocket of SF that isn't covered at all on my site. Thanks to you guys I now know there are some good places around there, and I have more work to do.
thanks, donovan! It is a part of the city that not many people spend much time in (unless they work in the area). I wouldn't say it's one of my favorite SF neighborhoods, but I think it's worth checking out, particularly if you're in the mood for an almond croissant after a ride on the caltrain. Can't go wrong w/ the pastries at Phillippe.

I've been pleasantly surprised with all of these.
