Being a tourist is a pass to eat whatever. "When i am going to be in (blank) and eat (blank) again?" Well I told myself that many times but have found some awesome places to take in some beautiful scenary and still work a sweat.

Watch the kite surfers in the water, the doggies in the doggy park & planes land into sfo. On a clear day there are great views of SF and awesome sunsets. Remember to work out!
Tricky to ride on the street but excellent way to explore barcelona. Just don't try to bike to parc guell though its a STEEP hill - i learned the hard way.
There are chairs through out to lounge, people watch and eat pastries. The gravel is ideal for running when exploring the many nooks of this amazing park.
Great for Celebrity/ dog watching...i prefer the dogs :D Panoramic views of LA through out the trail; Just make sure you have the energy to go up the STEEP hill
6 mile trail- no exit points so remember you have to go back! Peaceful views of the reservoir and changing landscape. my fave. is the "lord of the rings" part.
Beautiful fountain ontop of a hill with spectacular views of the city. Plus its big enough to run/walk around like a track. perfect before tapas!
I actually enjoyed running here when it was cold, you'd be amazed how quickly the body warms up, plus the park is way less crowded!
I's quite an uphill climb from campus but the reward is amazing views of Memorial Stadium, Berkeley campus and San Francisco bay.
Intense hill climb to this coastal Avenue. Saint-Martin is adorned by beautiful gardens, cliffs and endless ocean views. On the way there's the Aquarium and the Prince's Palace
Interval training without having to adjust the incline. More people running/jogging on this course than kids on bikes or moms with stollers (blame the hills.)
MASSIVE park just outside of paris city limits. Beautiful lakes and random running trails through out. There's a lovely chateau somewhere which takes time to find.

What a great idea for a guide! And I agree about Runyon Canyon.
