The cube houses were designed by Piet Blom I think these are very unique, I wonder what they look like on the inside. Open daily 11 am - 5 pm
This building looks like it is being held up by a big pole it is designed by the Renzo Piano Building Workshop for KPN Telecom taken from Erasmus Bridge
This is the most modern train station I have ever seen. It is also I think the busiest train station in Germany.
Just admiring the architecture of these two buildings together.
Again just admiring the architecture but also because of all the windows it seems as though your outside somehow very spacious
As soon as you step out of Central Station in Rotterdam this is what you will see. 20 floors high Began 1988 Finished 1993
I think these are really unique looking. Nice view from the brienenoord bridge when we ride our bikes across.
'Potlood' means pencil in Dutch and they call this the 'pencil building' you can see these apartments in person in Rotterdam
A residential building with 31 floors built starting in 2004 - 2006
I came across this impressive office block while on walk-about in London. Situated in Tooley Street, Bankside (opposite No.88 The Shipwrights Arms).
The distorted glass sphere of London's City Hall is commonly referred to as the "Cucumber Slices". Most appropriate, I think.
The interior spiral ramp offers views across the Thames through the building's glass walls.
The Swiss Re Tower is arguably the most distinctive of London's modern buildings. Nicknamed the Gherkin. Many energy-saving methods were incorporated in its design.
Ultra-modern buildings in London's new business district. This regenerated Dockland area is accessible by the Docklands Light Railway. Popular shopping destination.
This is the most complex of Kew Garden's public glasshouses. The house has been built without side walls under a single multi-span roof.
One always thinks of the historical buildings when you think of Europe. It is interesting to focus on the modern architecture. There are some interesting buildings in London. If you invite me to collaborate I can add a couple.
That is of course if you consider London to be in Europe...
Sure Sharon :)
I love the older buildings as well. Yes the more modern ones are great !!!

I love this...so much has been built since I lived in Europe, so it's good to see the new generation of European architecture.
