The dump, a place of treasures... Kaikoura realizes this and employs a crew of people sorting, recovering, and even operating a store. see it for yourself.
Natural hot springs are god's gift to eco-hot tub lovers. This one doubles the fun by dumping into the cold waikato river.
If you like tramping in style, you'll love this place. Also a working sheep farm, I got to hold a friendly lamb :)
Designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser, and featuring salvaged tiles, glass bottles and a living roof, this is the best public bathroom I've ever used!
Look but DONT TOUCH! These islands are for birds only, but theres magic under the water. Jump In!
beachfront hot tubs made of a local materials and powered by geothermal energy. bring your own shovel - you build them yourself!
Ha this place totally looks like an old school public pool, but its all heated geothermically, and almost puts Miranda on the map.
I am planning nz for next year- I am excited to go to these places, poor knights island looks wonderful!
I love Miranda Springs, I went there many years ago when I was like 15. It was my first hot springs experience and probably the best!
We are planning to go to NZ next year. This guide will be a great help. Thanks !
