Poker Rooms in Las Vegas

Places to play poker in Las Vegas, both good and not so good.

The Mirage

Though now eclipsed by the Bellagio, the Mirage remains among the best run and most pleasant places to play.

Bellagio

Overrated in my view, but indisputably the most popular poker destination in Las Vegas, especially if you like big stakes or obnoxious tourists.

Wynn Las Vegas Hotel and Casino Reviews

A relatively small but busy room. Not as full-featured as the Mirage or the Bellagio.

The Venetian

A relatively recent entry added during the poker boom. There is not much volume here, but the room is pretty well run.

Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino: Hotel Group Sales & Catering

A sad little room filled with conventioneers throwing their money at the local semi-pros.

Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino

A smallish room off the sports book tailored to dads who left the kids out on the faux beach.

Hmmm, you don't sound that excited about any of these places... I think I'll stick to the buffets and pools :)

The Mirage is my favorite, but the pickings are easier at some of the other rooms.

I'm saving this list for when I develop a gambling problem.
